Just arrived home early hours friday morning from a week at LO and this is my own personal review and opinions.
Of course everyone will be different as we are not all the same, again this is my own personal review.

After reading all the recent comments on this page in the weeks running up, I will openly admit, we were absolutely ill with the thought of coming, it was our first family holiday abroad, we have 3 young adult children and we were dreading it... to the extent it had me in tears prior to coming as I knew we couldn't change..
And I am so so pleased that we didn't.!!!

We wanted a holiday where we could mix relaxation with activities, fun times and create memories... and that's exactly what we got.

Upon arriving and due to arriving late, reception staff were amazing making sure we all got to eat before we went to rooms.
The rooms were nipping clean and perfect for what we needed (somewhere to rest our heads, change and shower )

FOOD
The big thing everyone talks about, now I told my children to go with an open mind, should we require English food then we should stay in England, however, we were going to a different country so embrace the difference.
We ate all week and were never hungry the kids tried things they would never try before, some they liked, some they didn't but that's ok, they were never hungry.
Yes some of the days were repetitive, so what ?? We ate and that's all the mattered, in fact I was gutted when some days my favourite dishes weren't on.. it's the only place I would eat those items, I wouldn't cook it back home so enjoyed it so much.
Infact, I enjoyed not having to cook at all, especially having to cook for a family of 5 back home on a daily, being waitered on a a blummin luxury 😊.

Staff were amazing, we can not praise the staff highly enough, they made us feel like royalty from arriving to leaving.
They were attentive and caring and fantastic at their jobs.
If you went in later then yes, there may be tables that needed clearing and re-setting.. but it honestly wasn't the end of the world, staff quickly re-set whilst we collected our food.
Its hospitality ... it's busy.. it really wasn't an issue.

DRINKS
We drank beer, mojito's, love on the beach every night... never once ran out.. bottled water was always available at any time of the day.

TOILET ROLL .
Yes they ran out the odd day but provided tissues... did it really matter whether it was toilet roll or tissue ?? No..!! Either one you could wipe with 🤣! It really wasn't that bad !!
Also.. there it a butt wash should you require it ( i had tissue i didnt require it) 😂.

FLIES
Yes there were lot's of flies, but you're in another country, it's gonna happen with seasons and climate 🤷‍♀️

POOLS
Both indoor and outdoor pool were nipping clean, staff do a fantastic job of keeping the areas clean .. maybes if people put their own rubbish in bins also, then it wouldn't be an issue.

BEACH
Wow !! Just wow !! The beach and sea, well.. out of this world !! I really don't think there is much more to say on that.

ANIMATION
These guys absolutely make this place with all of their activities and dances / entertainment.
What lovely down to earth, caring people they are and extremely hard working.
Working hard to help people like us (the guests) have an enjoyable holiday.
At times on stage speaking in 3 or 4 different languages to try to accommodate everyone.. I mean c'mon if that's not commendable then I don't know what is.
I will miss and forever speak highly of this team and it is for those reasons that we would love to return. They are what make LO, they are the beating heart of that hotel. ❤️.

ACTIVITIES
Whilst there we took part in darts, archery, jet ski's, water sofa, quad biking, group dances, stage activities and late night disco.
We had soooo much fun.

However, if you just want to relax then there is plenty opportunity for that also, daytimes around the pool and beach is awesome to relax.
( there is also a sauna and gym, only my son used the gym... I couldn't be bothered with that haha )

We also externally booked the pirate ship .. great fun swimming in the sea.. but nah wouldn't really recommend to be honest, especially with young children.

Overall... I stupidly let all the negative reviews dampen the run up to our family holiday.
I appreciate that each and every review is very personal to each person and a true reflection on what they found ( we all look for something different and have different comparisons .. and that's ok )

This review is again.. only the personal opinion on what myself, my husband and 3 young adult children found.
We wanted family time away from work, we wanted relaxation, adventure, fun times and to make friends with everlasting memories .. we got all of that 😊.

We mixed and played games most of the week with German / Polish / French guests who soon became friends and have all kept in touch.
We found ways to communicate and have just the best times.
There were no boundaries only lasting friendships and memories made. 🫶🫶

Go with an open mind and just embrace the experience !!
A holiday is exactly what you make it.
Yeah things could have been a little better in areas... but seriously.. it did not spoil our holiday .. there will always be improvements no matter where you go.
We had nothing to compare it to.. so we're very happy with our experience.

Would we go back ? Yeah we would... mostly for Mido and his team... because they were just the absolute best 👌 and we now miss them lol.

Hello I would like to share an experience in tunisia with you I advise everyone to come to Tunisia to the hotel les orangers because they have a great welcome with an extraordinary animation team where we have fun we burst there is a breathtaking atmosphere go there with your eyes closed because I would especially like to thank this animation team which is great and extraordinary a very big thank you to zouba mido loulou jj gg and oumaima I would like to thank them again for their professionalism their kindness their smile and that's the holidays with the animation team that puts you in a crazy atmosphere it's 100% atmosphere assured and if I come back to this hotel it will be thanks to the entire animation team for all the shows the dances the songs a big thank you to the entire animation team and thank you for the extraordinary atmosphere thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart zina from france.

We had an amazing stay staff where amazing nothing was a problem. both in the hotel and around the pool and beach. food was very good but maybe more options and meat , the rooms blew us away , spacious and the level of cleanliness was amazing , used the gym most mornings and , and was lucky enough to get a massage on site !! would recommend this hotel to anyone , we r already looking at flights to come back out to this 5 star hotel thank you all for making out 2weeks so special Alan and kerry from Northern Ireland 👌🙏

Stayed in a bungalow here! Fabulous service!!! Everyone who worked here was so friendly and helpful! The animation team were amazing! Especially JJ and mateo!!! Photographers were both lovely and very friendly!

Great animation team.
JJ and the rest of the team try to entertain the guests all day with activities like water polo, darts or archery
And there is always a super show at night.
The food was always very good and the staff always very friendly.
The complex is super developed and you can walk to the beach in a few minutes.
I would definitely come back here again.

Very nice experience in this hotel in Tunisia! ☀️🌴 The establishment is beautiful, very clean and perfectly maintained. The staff is adorable (the animators like JJ), smiling and always caring. The meals are varied, with a real choice for all tastes. The rooms are comfortable and the atmosphere is very pleasant.

Advantages: Excellent location and the staff are fabulous rooms a little dated but very clean
Lunchtime food on the beach is great the dinner restaurant food needs improving Disadvantages: Nothing

Great stay in Tunisia! We had a great week and above all, a huge thank you to the animation team who were really on top from start to finish! Always in a good mood, smiling and full of energy, she really set the mood and made our trip even better. We leave with a lot of beautiful memories.

What a fantastic holiday, made special by the staff/ animation team and beautiful scenes. The animation Team JJ, Mido, Zumba and the rest of the gang are incredible, not only are they great entertainers but the loveliest people and could not do enough to make sure we enjoyed our time. The food is incredible with a great variety of Tunisian at how foods. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly and again can not do enough for you. Beautiful place and beautiful people!

We had the most amazing time here. First time to Tunisia and the staff and people made us feel extremely welcome. The food was authentic and very good. The evening entertainment was superb. Mido, JJ and the whole animation team were so friendly, approachable and helpful with anything we needed during the stay. 10/10

Excellent stay!!! The hotel is beautiful, the atmosphere is super pleasant and the animation team including Matheo, JJ and Toto... has been really amazing, they are all very nice, smiling and set a great atmosphere during activities and evenings. I have been coming to the hotel since I was 4 years old. It gives me great pleasure to meet the staff that I already know. The animator zouba is very welcoming and very pleasant. The activities at the hotel are well presented. The evening shows are always nice to see.
The pool is very beautiful

We had a great week in this hotel! The staff was pleasant and welcoming and the atmosphere very nice. A big thank you to the animators JJ, Mido and Mathéo .... who really helped to make our stay even more enjoyable thanks to their good humor, their energy and the activities offered! proposed and the setting of the hotel.

Small negative point: we found that there was not enough choice in terms of food, especially for meals. But overall, we had a great stay

Me, my family and my boyfriend stayed here and had a lovely time, the hotel and its grounds are all beautiful. The staff are all very helpful and friendly, especially the bar staff and JJ who went out of their way to talk to us each day and have a joke with us. They had water sports on the beach which were very well priced and offered different trips out and things to do. The cleaners did a lovely job of tidying up the rooms everyday. The food was very good too. Overall we had a lovely holiday and one we won't forget, another thank you again to JJ and the guys at Bar Semi Ramis.
